Effects of weave path parameters on the geometry of wire arc additive manufactured features

The present work investigates the effect of process parameters on geometry wire arc additive manufactured parts. geometric accuracy features produced with a weaving strategy is compared to what can be accomplished typical overlapping bead strategy. In this work, single-layer and multi-layer geometries were deposited under varying path parameters. wavelength, amplitude, torch speed varied, while power, feed speed, contact tip distance remained constant. deposition efficiencies several samples weave are directly generated two parallel beads speeds defined match rate samples.
